Paradise Dynasty Launches Brand-NEW Outlet At Wisma Atria! Enjoy FREE Beauty Collagen Xiao Long Bao!
Regulars who are wondering where Paradise Dynasty at ION has "disappeared" to, fret not as a brand-new outlet is now opened nearby at level one of Wisma Atria!
Besides its convenient location, I really like that the spacious 196-seater is all decked in beautiful rose gold and delicate pink colours, much like Beauty In The Pot. Such a pretty dining environment!
We wasted no time in quickly making our way over also because of the..... Complimentary Beauty Collagen Xiao Long Bao!!!
Just the name of it is already so irresistable. The beauty collagen xiao long bao is a collaboration between Paradise Dynasty and Beauty In The Pot, and exclusively available at the Wisma Atria outlet.
Not available for sale, diners will receive a complimentary order with every order of the Specialty Dynasty Xiao Long Bao, for a limited time only till 31st January 2019.
We love the taste of the beauty collagen xiao long bao! It's like the usual soup dumpling but elevated with the luscious shark's cartilage broth. So delicious! How I wish this will stay permanently on the menu.
Like how the golden formula for a perfect xiao long bao should be, each weighs 25 grams and pleated with 18 exquisite folds.
If you want a change from the usual meat fillings, Paradise Dynasty has another version too, the Yam Paste Xiao Long Bao ($8.80/$12.80).
I personally prefer a more savoury taste, so the Special Dynasty 8-Color Xiao Long Bao ($16.80) featuring original, ginseng, foie gras, black truffle, crab roe, cheese, garlic, garlic and Szechuan flavours suited me better.
Usually when we visit Paradise Dynasty, we will order our usual favourite xiao long bao and la mian straightaway, but when we took a good look at the menu this time, we realised actually the restaurant offers eight cuisines of China under one roof: Anhui, Cantonese, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, and Zhejiang!
It's like a gourmet tour of China without having to travel out of Singapore lol!
There were a couple of classic dishes such as Lettuce Roll with Homemade Sesame Sauce ($8), Chilled Jellyfish in Soy Sauce Vinaigrette ($12.80), Prawn & Pork Dumpling in Hot Chilli Vinaigrette ($8.80), Stir-fried Organic Bamboo Shoots with Bacon ($14.80), and Braised Tofu with Crab Roe ($22.80) which we tried for the very first time and enjoyed it.
The warm and soft Steamed Glutinous Rice Stuffed in Red Date ($7.80) is certainly one of the best renditions around.
Paradise Dynasty has came up with a range of new dishes as well. There's the Crispy Yellow Croaker Spring Roll ($2.90), and Steamed Yellow Croaker with Fermented Rice & Chinese Wine ($32.80).
My recommendation would be the La Mian with Yellow Croaker Fish & Preserved Vegetable ($16.80). The yellow croaker fish bones are deep-fried then simmered for more than three hours before combining with pork bone soup, resulting in the deep flavours of each sip. Together with spingy noodles and tender fish meat, it was indeed a slurpilicious bowl.
To end, the Chilled Snow Fungus with Peach Resin ($8.80) is the perfect choice.
