Don Don Donki, the Japanese discount chain with presence in Singapore's Orchard Central, 100AM, City Square Mall and upcoming Novena Square 2 has just opened a spin-off outlet at Changi Airport Terminal 3 on 1st May 2019!
Named Sweet Potato Factory by Don Don Donki, you will find their immensely-popular baked sweet potatoes, as well as a range of sweet potato snacks and drinks offerings. Some of which are new and exclusively available at this airport store only!

The store (not exactly a factory lol) is pretty easy to find. Just walk to the row of shops in Terminal 3 departure hall, right before the link bridge to Jewel.
Though compact in size, it houses a "mini-kitchen" where the snacks and drinks are prepped. There is no seating area, purely a grab-and-go concept.
We knew right away what we wanted to try: The airport exclusive Imo Stick - Caramelised Sweet Potato Fries ($3.90), and Goma Pote ($3.90)! Instead of buying two separate cups (saving tummy space for more food later lol), we decided to get the Sweet Potato Mix ($3.90).
The imo sticks looked uncannily like French fries, albeit that it's a chilled sweet potato version coated with caramelised sugar. Pleasantly sweet and crunchy to bite, the sticks are rather enjoyable as a snack.
I prefer the goma pote a little more, as the caramelised sweet potato cubes are crusted with black and white sesame seeds, giving the sweet treat a more fragrant bite.
Besides sweet potato snacks, customers can also grab the creamy Sweet Potato Milkshake ($4.90), and Sweet Potato Milk With Pearls ($4.90), both are made with 100% Hokkaido milk.
Other available beverages includes Okinawa Brown Sugar Milk with Pearls ($3.90), and if you need a coffee fix, there's always Black Coffee (Hot $2.50 / Iced $3) and Caffe Latte (Hot $3.50 / Iced $3.90) brewed using arabica coffee beans.
And of course, we cannot missed Don Don Donki's "shockingly delicious" Baked Sweet Potato ($2.80)! Passport on one hand, sweet potato on the other? Sweet potato on both hands also can lah haha!
